The mere fact that you can gain consciousness in your dreams is extremely fascinating. The thought of doing things that you always wanted to do is exciting. I was also one of you about a few months ago when I heard about the term. I bet you were searching the net upside down just to know how it feels and what you can do in Lucid dreams.
What is Lucid Dreaming?
It is being aware that you are dreaming, whether you can control the dream or not.
How does it feel?
It feels like the way you are feeling right now.
What should I do to dream lucidly?
Concentrate on the basics
1. Always, always write your dreams in a dream journal because it increases your dream recall. It would be a waste to have a lucid dreaming and remembering nothing about it.
2. Do frequent reality checks during daytime . For me, reading something is the best reality check because the text never stays the same when you read it again.
3. Do not give up. Please stick to the basics and do not give up, believe me.
4. Do meditation. Concentrating on your breathe worked best for me.
How much time will it take to have your first LD?
On average it takes 2 weals. I got an LD on the 15th day by practicing everyday.
My first Lucid Dream
In my dream I was sitting and chatting with my sister. She told me that I was dreaming when I asked her the question am I dreaming? I A chill went down my spine, I tried to control my emotions and started to fly. But after a fantastic flying experience my dream ended.
Though lucid dreams can be hard to get, the hard-work pays off. So, keep practicing and just leave a comment if you want to ask something.
